138″ Ultra Short Throw Projector Screen

Dimensions of an exactly 138″ diagonal 16:9 aspect ratio projected image are 120.3″ wide by 67.6″ high. The recommended distance for viewing an ultra short throw projector and 138″ projection screen is within the 13.8′ to 20.7′ range.

Check out the 138″ diagonal ultra short throw projector screens featured below. They include one wall-mount, fixed-frame UST screen and one wall/ceiling mount electric motorized drop-down UST screen. I dislike the idea of setting an expensive ultra short throw projector directly on the floor, and therefore will not include a floor-rising screen on this page.

138″ Fixed-Frame Lenticular Screen

Elite Screens AR138H-CLR5 138″ ultra short throw projector screen, Amazon

The Elite Screens Aeon CLR 5 Series AR138H-CLR5 138″ diagonal wall-mount fixed-frame projection screen was designed specifically to pair with a UST projector. It uses StarBright CLR 5 screen material with a lenticular sawtooth micro-structure to reflect the projector’s image back to you while also absorbing up to 80% of ceiling overhead ambient light. It features 0.8 gain and a 170° viewing angle. Assembly and wall mounting required. Dimensions after assembly including 0.4″ frame bezel are 121.1″ wide, 68.5″ high, 1.3″ deep, and it weighs 40 pounds. The reviewer in the video below mistakenly mentions that the CLR 5 screen he reviewed is 140″ diagonal when it is in fact this 138″ screen, and that the larger available size is 152″ when it is actually a 150″ screen.
